- What Information We Collect
Personally identifiable and non-identifiable information
When you visit our site, BunchOf Gardeners collects basic information that can identify you such as your name, mailing address, photograph, and email address and other personal information that does not identify you. When you provide personal information through our site, the information may be sent to servers located in the United States and other countries around the world. This includes which pages are visited, the types of products purchased, and any feedback from our visitors. We will also may request information about your interests and activities, your gender and age, and other demographic information such as your hometown. We then aggregate this information with volumes of other pieces of information to improve our site for you.
Web beacons” (also known as “clear gifs” and “pixel tags”) are small transparent graphic images that are often used in conjunction with cookies in order to further personalize our site for our users and to collect a limited set of information about our visitors. We may also use web beacons in email communications in order to understand the behavior of our customers. We do not link the web beacons to any personally identifiable information (PII).
We encourage you to refer a friend by sending us a friend’s name and email address. We will keep this information in our database, and send that person a one-time e-mail containing your name and inviting them to visit our site. This e-mail will also include instructions on how to remove their information from our database. You agree that you will not abuse this feature by entering names and addresses of those who would not be interested in BunchOf Gardeners services.
We may periodically conduct voluntary member surveys. We encourage our members to participate in such surveys because they provide us with important information regarding the improvement of our services. You may also volunteer for certain surveys that we may offer to our users, and any additional rules regarding the conduct of such surveys will be disclosed to you prior to your participation. We do not link the survey responses to any personally identifiable information, and all responses are anonymous.
To process purchases from BunchOf Gardeners site, we may require your name, address, phone number, email address and credit card information. Such information is used primarily to process your order or as otherwise described herein. Credit card transactions are processed through industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and/or strong encryption (3DES) by a third party, which only uses your information for that purpose. We make discussion boards available to our users and visitors. Any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose any personally identifiable information.
In addition to the uses outlined above, you agree to allow us to anonymously use the information from you and your experiences to continue our research into successful gardening and landscaping. This research may be published on our site, articles, newspapers, news releases, etc. However, all of your responses will be kept anonymous.

Based on this information given on your account, we may use information that we collect about you to manage your account and provide you with customer support; perform research and analysis about your use of, or interest in, our products, services, or content, or products, services or content offered by others; communicate with you by e-mail, postal mail, telephone and/or mobile devices about products or services that may be of interest to you either from us, or other third parties; develop and display content and advertising tailored to your interests on our site; verify your eligibility and deliver prizes in connection with contests and sweepstakes; enforce our terms and conditions; manage our business; provide BunchOf Gardeners advertisements to you when you visit other sites; and perform functions as otherwise described to you at the time of collection.

We want you to understand when and with whom we may share personal or other information we have collected about you or your activities on our site or while using our services.
Authorized service providers
BunchOf Gardeners may share your personal information, which may include your name and contact information (including email address) with our authorized service providers that perform certain services on our behalf. These services may include providing customer service and marketing assistance, performing business and sales analysis, supporting our site functionality, and supporting contests, sweepstakes, surveys and other features offered through our site. We may also share your name, contact information with our authorized service providers. These service providers may have access to personal information needed to perform their functions but are not permitted to share or use such information for any other purposes.
When you make engage in promotions offered through our site or our services, we may share personal information with the businesses with which we partner to offer you those products, services, promotions, contests and/or sweepstakes. When you elect to engage in a particular merchant's offer or program, you authorize us to provide your email address and other information to that merchant.

From time to time we may share our postal mailing list with selected providers of goods and services that may be of interest to you.
You should understand that information you provide or post to the public areas of our site, including your name (if provided) and location information may be accessible by and made public through syndication programs and by search engines, metasearch tools, crawlers, metacrawlers and other similar programs.

While we support the protection of privacy on the Internet, we cannot be responsible for the actions of third parties. Aggregated and non-personal information.
BunchOf Gardeners may share aggregated and non-personal information we collect under any of the above circumstances. We may also share it with third parties to develop and deliver targeted advertising on our sites and on sites of third parties. We may combine non-personal information we collect with additional non-personal information collected from other sources. We also may share aggregated information with third parties, including advisors, advertisers and investors, for the purpose of conducting general business analysis. For example, we may tell our advertisers the number of visitors to our site and the most popular features or services accessed. This information does not contain any personal information and may be used to develop site content and services that we hope you and other users will find of interest and to target content and advertising.

We fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies in identifying those who use our services for illegal activities. We reserve the right to release information about members who we believe are in violation of our content guidelines. We also reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we reasonably believe to be unlawful.
In connection with a substantial corporate transaction, such as the sale of our business, a divestiture, merger, consolidation, or asset sale, or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy. In the event that BunchOf Gardeners is acquired by or merged with a third party entity, we reserve the right, in any of these circumstances, to transfer or assign the information we have collected from our members as part of such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control. In the unlikely event of our bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership, or assignment for the benefit of creditors, or the application of laws or equitable principles affecting creditors' rights generally, we may not be able to control how your personal information is treated, transferred, or used.
- Do Not Disclose Your Personally Identifiable Information or Password
Please DO NOT post, share or disclose in forums, e.g., chat rooms, group wall, any personally identifiable information that you do not wish other members to know. We encourage you to ask questions before you disclose your personally identifiable information to others. Similarly, you should never disclose or share your password with anyone else. If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your personally identifiable information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. If your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately change your password and/or contact us using the contact information provided on our Contact Us page.
- How You Can Change the Information.
If at any time you would like to change any information in your account, just go to Account Settings. Once here, you can change or update your e-mail address and password, and other information. (Ask /Request Myriad about this…and account settings).
- How to Stop Us from Gathering Information about You.
Upon your request, we will deactivate your account and remove your personally identifiable information from our active databases. To make this request, contact BunchOf Gardeners by using the contact information provided on the site on the “Contact” web page. Upon our receipt of your request, we will deactivate your account and remove your Personally Identifiable Information as soon as reasonably possible. (Ask /Request Myriad about this…and account settings).Nonetheless, we will retain in our files information you may have requested us to remove if, in our discretion, retention of the information is necessary to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems or to enforce the Terms of Service Agreement. Furthermore, your information is never completely removed from our databases due to technical and legal constraints (for example, we will not remove your information from our back up storage).
- Protecting the Privacy of Children Under 13.
BunchOf Gardeners does not knowingly collect any personal information from a child without the consent of the child's parent(s) or guardian(s). Before signing up for a service that requests disclosure of personal information, children under 13 are advised to obtain parental consent. By participating in such a service, the user is representing that he or she is in compliance with this paragraph. We suggest that parents become involved with their children's access to the Internet and our site, to ensure that their child's privacy is always well protected.
We have extensive security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information stored in our database. These measures include the use of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and/or strong encryption (3DES) technology during credit card transactions and administrative access to site data, as well as other proprietary security measures which are applied to all repositories and transfers of user information. We will exercise reasonable care in providing secure transmission of information between your computer and our servers, but given that no information transmitted over the Internet can be guaranteed 100% secure, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information transmitted to us over the Internet and hence accept no liability for any unintentional disclosure.
By using our site, you consent to the collection and use of your information by us, as described in this policy.
